Terms of Service.

These terms are the agreement between you and Prem, an independent developer in Malaysia, operating saasclips.com. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

What saasclips does

You paste a landing page URL. We fetch its public content, assemble short launch videos, and return them as MP4 files. One free launch per account. Paid plans increase your monthly quota.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.
• One account per person. Sharing credentials is not allowed.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You can delete your account anytime by emailing us.

Acceptable use

Do not use saasclips to:

• Scrape URLs you are not authorised to submit (e.g. private sites, paywalled pages you did not pay for)
• Generate videos for content that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, or promotes harm
• Impersonate another company or misrepresent a product you do not own or represent
• Circumvent quotas, re-sell access, or scrape our own service
• Submit malware, phishing targets, or URLs designed to attack third parties

We can suspend or terminate accounts that do any of this, without refund for the current period.

Your content, your rights

URLs you submit remain yours. The generated MP4s are yours to use however you want — posts, ads, portfolios, clients, commercial or personal. We claim no ownership over your output.

You grant us a limited licence to process the submitted URL, cache the scraped page, and render your video. That is the only thing we do with it.

Our stuff

The saasclips site, code, templates, and brand are ours. You do not get a licence to copy them. You do get the output videos — those are yours.

Billing

• Paid plans are billed by Stripe in advance, monthly or annually.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your dashboard.
• No refunds for unused time in the current billing period. If we mess up and charge you wrongly, email us and we fix it.
• Prices can change. If we raise them, existing subscribers keep their current price for at least one full billing period after we notify them.
• Malaysian SST or other taxes may apply depending on where you are based and will be shown at checkout where required.

Availability

We aim for best-effort uptime, but saasclips is a small indie project run by one person. There is no uptime SLA. Scheduled maintenance and third-party outages (Supabase, Stripe, Hetzner) may cause interruptions. We will try to be transparent about them.

Warranty disclaimer

saasclips is provided “as is”. We make no warranties about quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or continuous availability. Your videos may occasionally render poorly or fail. If that happens, email us and we will re-render or credit you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for anything arising out of your use of saasclips is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or MYR 200, whichever is lower). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case the law of your jurisdiction applies to the extent it overrides these terms.

Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless against claims arising from URLs you submitted, content you created, or use that violated these terms.

Termination

You can stop using saasclips any time. We can suspend accounts that break these terms. If we shut down saasclips entirely, we will give active paying subscribers reasonable notice and pro-rate refunds.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we will email active users and update the date at the top. Minor edits (typos, reformatting) may happen without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email goes to the courts of Kuala Lumpur, unless your local consumer law gives you stronger rights.
